Intellectual Property
Acting for the manufacturer of agricultural equipment in successfully obtaining relief for breach of copyright. This is the first reported decision of a case concerning unregistered design rights.
Finance, Tax and Asset Distribution
Representing Executors in high value contested estates including estates involving business property.
Advising and acting for the beneficiaries in a complex and high value probate in a case which involved no will, assets overseas, an investigation by HMRC about the value of estate on death and defending an Inheritance Act claim by the deceased's partner who challenged the distribution of the estate under the intestacy rules.
